The third edition of the antiques and art market “Monoiwai” is leaving Kyoto and will be held in Tokyo.

"Objects that have endured through many years possess a soul."
This phrase evokes a sense of the spirit that connects Japan’s traditions. These objects form the foundation of artisans’ techniques, and even today, their spirit continues to be passed on, likely inspiring contemporary artists as well.

At Japan’s leading art hotel, BnA Wall Nihonbashi, old and new objects will come together, and people and objects will weave new stories. For this edition of Monoiwai, works by artists active in today’s Kyoto art scene will also be on display, creating a space where tradition and innovation can be enjoyed together.
