■About RESONANT INSCAPES created by TOMOYA MOROHOSHI
《RESONANT INSCAPES》 is started with a dialogue about sound with deaf people.
From the dialogue,
Designer Iwatanaoki, who is also the supervisor of this work,
when feeling music
``The sound of the piano felt like the sound of water coming out of a faucet.''
We focused on the synesthesia-like way of perceiving music.
A vague image comes to mind from the music.
Recall past memories and scenes.
This way of feeling music like synesthesia,
This is an attempt to create a video work with AI.
Extracts sound features and infers scenes in which the sound may exist as an environmental sound.
The scene is visualized in real time using image generation AI.
To generate the images, the author used a film camera to accumulate images taken over several years.
Uses AI that has learned everyday photos.
I draw scenes of imaginary memories from music.
