ABOUT THE MURAL:
A fusion of monstrous heads stacked into one evolving form, this mural reflects the complex layers within every mind. Like molecules growing by absorbing new elements, our character is shaped by experience: travel, stories, cultures, and connections. Each head represents a piece of who we’ve become.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Darbotz (b. Jakarta, Indonesia) is a contemporary artist whose practice bridges street culture and fine art. Known for his monochromatic visual language and the recurring Cumi character, Darbotz explores themes of survival, identity, and urban chaos. Over nearly two decades, his work has evolved from graffiti-covered city walls to large-scale installations and international collaborations, maintaining the raw energy of his origins while reflecting on the complexities of modern life. His monsters embody resilience — a reflection of the human struggle to endure and adapt within the ever-shifting rhythm of the city.
