MIR - The Leopard

As part of the 2026 Fusion Residency, Theobanoth painted a large-scale leopard face in the stairwell. The predator is positioned directly opposite the existing mouse painting by British artist Sepr, creating a clear visual dialogue between the two works. This placement introduces a subtle tension in the space and changes the atmosphere of the stairwell.
The leopard is painted facing downward, guiding the viewer’s eye and creating a sense of movement as people walk through the space. The neck of the leopard begins in red, echoing the color of the wall on its left, and gradually transitions into pink tones that connect with the color palette of the mouse. This shift in color visually links the two paintings while reinforcing the relationship between them.
