As the name suggests, this room has a pink carpet that sets the tone for the entire room; soft, gentle, and a restful space reminiscent of a scene from a story.

The floor is lushly carpeted and the wall is decorated with a hand tufted tapestry based on Colliu’s drawings. The scene depicted in the tapestry seems to resemble the very room it decorates. Original furniture pieces and other objects found in the room were also hand-crafted in order to recreate the artist’s imagined world.

Please indulge yourself and give into your urge to pose for your camera. Create the best memories of your trip.

About the artist

Artist and model graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Oil Painting in 2009.

Colliu was active in a wide range of mediums, including drawing, painting, and three-dimensional works, with human-shaped figures with distinctive eyes as her main motifs. During her career, Colliu continued to present work in her own unique world view.

In her eventual exhibitions, Colliu’s works transformed from flat paintings to folding screen-like panels and sculptures, and the entire space composed of these elements have been assembled as a single work of art.
In addition to gallery exhibitions in Japan and abroad, she has participated in the show windows of Shinjuku NEWoMan, the exhibition design of LAFORET B1F TOILET GALLERY, collaborations and exhibitions with fashion brands such as COACH and RIMOWA.
