Welcome to the Suite Room of BnA_WALL.
It is a space that recollects the hidden “memories of the city”.
The floor is covered with hand glazed tiles, giving each a different and unique texture.
These numerous tiles are hi-resolution replicas of road or wall surfaces found somewhere in Tokyo. Each tile was 3D scanned by the artists and CNC-milled out of porcelain slabs.

Deteriorating signs and ornamentations, lost objects, and stray cat footprints…
This large cavernous space was designed for guests to spend their time on the floor. Browse and discover traces preserved in the form of tiles. Touched them with my hands. Feel them beneath your feet. Lay on it and feel them with your body.
Everyday Holiday Squad’s body of work revolves around the theme of “playing outside”. This piece is no exception with objects and features normally found outdoors, such as street curbs, vending machines, and outdoor trash cans, are brought inside to be used as furniture.

We hope you will enjoy a luxurious evening in the city of Tokyo as if you were enjoying it out in a park or out on the bustling street, while imagining all of the memories that the city has accumulated.
